Job description

The Business Development Executive prospects and sells new partners for Deluxe Payment Exchange (DPX) in order to meet and exceed the specified sales targets. They will partner with Sales Leader to increase market share by developing, nurturing and growing relationships with fully insured medical claim insurance companies. The Business Development Executive is also responsible for working with the Marketing Team to create email campaigns and general materials to help drive growth and customer satisfaction. The Business Development Executive will act as the voice of the customer for the MPX product team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to increase market share by building relationships, implementing DPX sales programs with fully insured healthcare claim payors.
  • Product input on market dynamics in the fully insured payment space.
  • Works with the marketing team on all initiatives including email blasts
  • Ensure all data is captured in Salesforce to allow for monthly reporting to the ELT including weekly sales calls with all sales reps to ensure proper handling of these relationships
  • Participates in tradeshows, district meetings, national sales meetings, other meetings as required
Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelors and 5 years or HS/GED and 9 years
  • B2B selling experience
  • Experience selling Payments Solutions
Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree

Experience: 7 years in payment systems, professional sales, innovative sales
  • Ability to complete all stages of the sales cycle (prospect, qualify, discover needs, professionally present solution, handle objections and close the sale), and Strategic selling
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers and Deluxe Partners.
  • Ability to present product/service solutions to customers in person/virtually.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct Deluxe presentations in person or via web to large groups
  • Goal Setting and attainment of goals
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
