Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America's first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America's first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. Our renewable energy facility is the largest of its kind in North America and provides clean energy that powers our sugar operations, which helps us reduce our use of fossil fuels. Florida Crystals also sustainably farms rice, sweet corn and other vegetables in rotation with our sugarcane. Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida.

OVERVIEW

The Enterprise Architect, Supply Chain reports to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and is responsible for ensuring the technologies, systems and processes developed are consistent across business units and are in line with enterprise technology standards and best practices.

The primary function of the Enterprise Architect, Supply Chain is to work with the procurement, operation and logistics function in understanding the vision and capabilities required to enable the vision of the function, while aligning the vision into the company's overall Enterprise Architecture principles and standards. The role is to provide EA guidance on a solution, application design and integration for the supporting departments across privately held Florida Crystals Corporation, American Sugar Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries (ASR Group). The Enterprise Architect must be self-driven, with strong business process knowledge, analytical skills, excellent communication, and good customer presence.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Functional Enterprise Architect
    • Responsible for working with Functional leaders at solutions that enable future state business capabilities in bimodal capacity
      • Focus on efficiency and predictability of the IT estate
      • Focus on technology disruption, speed, agility, and flexibility that enables and drives new business models and designs, while meeting today's business needs
    • Ensure that functional tower initiatives and solutions are aligned EA standards and structure
    • Hold decision rights on solution roadmaps for process area working with functional towers
    • Deliver the EA process and active participation with architecture review and advisory process
    • Ensure that functional tower initiatives and solutions are aligned EA standards through the established process
    • Author and cooperate on the development of Business Architecture / Business Process standards and methodologies
    • Lead innovation initiatives that are strategic to the organization
    • Provide architectural review in the demand management process
    • Ensure projects adhere to enterprise and business architecture guidelines, and be an advisory member on blueprint sessions
    • Identify and Mitigate Architectural Risks that would negatively impact our business/IT strategy, IT Landscape
    • Actively engaged in Architecture and User Group communities


WORK EXPERIENCES
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years in roles where demonstrated exceptional leadership and architecture capabilities working in complex environments
    • Has led projects related to complex Enterprise Architecture and business processes
    • Strong understanding and experience in developing standards-based Business Process Documents and related documentation
    • Has led business process modeling and related LOB's for a global corporation
    • Has provided knowledge transfer, training and mentoring
    • Detailed understanding of ERP system integration and functionality
    • Led or key participation in software selection activities
  • Business Experience in functional processes
    • Experienced in enterprise wide business applications with a deep technological infrastructure awareness
    • Experience with software, infrastructure and technologies. For example:
      • Large package implementations: SAP
      • E-commerce and automation technologies, e.g. EDI, RPA, ML, AI
      • MS SharePoint and Teams
      • Private/Public Cloud technology
      • Hardware sizing, method to create deployment architecture, consideration of operational procedures
      • Knowledge and experience with business process management [BPM] and service-oriented architecture [SOA] technologies


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree


ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
  • Thorough understanding of Business processes for a multinational corporation, preferably privately owned
  • Thorough understanding of SAP or relevant ERP systems functionality as applied to our companies
  • Ability to apply all of the above on a global basis
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture and enterprise architecture concepts and standards
  • Large-scale package software experience - with experience in SAP
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools
  • Ability to lead process improvement and technology transformation projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills


TRAVEL
  • Moderate to low travel is required for this position (15-20%)
