You Will Be Responsible For:
- Supervises and directs finance personnel to ensure accurate and timely information to support decision making is produced.
- Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company wide and individual facility business activity and financial position in areas of income, expense and earnings based on past, present, and expected operation on daily, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
- Communicates results and high-level analysis of the consolidated financial statements to senior finance executives.
- Prepares analysis to support strategic activities such as balance sheet and capital allocation modeling and communicates to all affected stakeholders.
- Produces presentations for Chief Financial Officer and for other executive team members as requested.
- Prioritizes routine reporting with special projects and manages to established deadlines.
- Supervises annual budget process including expense allocations and performs technical reviews of the annual facility budgets.
- Interacts with facility personnel, executive teams, department directors/managers as well as outside contacts as needed.
- Chairs the Chart of Accounts Governance Committee to ensure adherence to established standards and represents finance in other committees, councils and working groups as requested.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Five years of progressive work experience in Accounting or Finance with exposure to internal control functions, financial statement preparation and auditing.
- Previous supervisory experience or project coordination experience.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and double-entry accounting.
- Operational understanding of routine accounting functions.
- Proficiency in MSOffice applications with extensive knowledge of spreadsheet analysis tools.
- Understanding of healthcare finance operating and key indicators.
- Possess above average analytical skills.
- Ability to shift attention and concentration quickly and effectively between simultaneous projects.
- Ability to utilize sound judgement and take initiative.
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing.

Job Summary:
Responsibilities involve directing and supervising financial decision support and data governance activities, including corporate wide consolidated financial and statistical preparation, analysis and presentation. The director works with senior finance leadership to support future financial goals and strategies such as balance sheet and capital allocation modeling and forecasting. Duties also include assisting facility finance/accounting personnel in interpretation of financial and statistical reports, annual budget preparation, and labor benchmarking. The director coordinates work with internal and external auditors and consultants for the efficient completion of financial and regulatory audits or surveys and implements policies and procedures as necessary for efficient operation of finance functions.
