TITLE:
HR Generalist
LOCATION:
Human Resources Apopka, FL
The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR Dept. This includes, benefits administration, onboarding, training, safety, payroll preparation and maintaining the HR database. The HR Generalist will also assist with the implementation of policies and programs that are consistent with Bloem's culture and company objectives and ensures timely communication with all employee relations matters.
Major Responsibilities: % of Time
Leads the recruitment effort and executes on the recruitment strategy determined by the HR Supervisor. Submits online job postings, shortlists candidates and schedules job interviews to meet work force and management personnel needs of the company with top talent in the industry. 40%
Deliver and schedule all new hire information, i.e., benefits, facility information, facility tour and meet and greets. Lead the onboarding process to ensure new employees are welcomed, trained, and have access to the tools needed to be successful in their respective position. Maintain HRIS systems. 20%
Employee Relations/Activities - assists with the implementation and execution of Bloem programs and policies that offer recognition to employees for high performance, service and any additional activities that increase moral that are consistent with Bloem's culture. 20%
Major Responsibilities: % of Time
Engages with all employees and ensures timely resolution to all employee questions and requests. 10%
Assists with the administration of health and safety policies and procedures at the facility. 10%
Member of the Safety Advisory Committee.
Qualifications: Essential Desirable
Education Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree with concentration in HR or applicable
Experience 2-5 years of experience in an HR Experience in a manufacturing or assistant/admin position. HRIS warehouse environment. experience. Experience with operational procedures within an
HR function such as record keeping, interviewing, employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration
