We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant whose primary responsibility is to support the recruitment process by successfully and efficiently coordinating pre-employment and onboarding requirements.

Key Responsibilities: * Provides outstanding 1st impression and continual service to staff members and prospective staff members; serves as first point of contact for general staff questions/concerns/needs.

  • Facilitates all post-offer/pre-employment requirements with candidates, including reference checks, drug screens, background checks and onboarding requirements.
  • Efficiently processes/audits post-offer/pre-employment paperwork and creates/maintains staff member digital files, ensuring compliance with state, federal and departmental/regulatory standards.
  • Inputs all new hires into the various HRIS systems in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Engages with candidates at various touchpoints through the selection and hiring process, tracks touchpoints accordingly, and facilitates candidates through selection process as needed.
  • Audits personnel files routinely and ensures compliance with the Agency for Healthcare Administration requirements; Manages/updates SNF, ALF and Home Health Rosters and ensures accuracy/timely reporting.
  • Assists with maintenance of applicant tracking system.
  • Supports onboarding process by coordinating start dates/orientation dates for new hires.
  • Sets up and assists with various meetings and trainings including new staff member orientation; initiates LMS (Learning Management System) courses for new hires, and monitors compliance/completion.
  • Develops and publishes company/HR communications and announcements; posts and manages content on digital communications platform.
  • Supports and assists with staff member relations functions.
  • Provides ongoing training and assistance to staff with registration in online employee self-service, requesting time off, and accessing/updating information.
  • Develops and updates job descriptions, job postings and offer letters as requested.
  • Updates and posts points in employee recognition software database.
  • Schedules interviews and appointments for candidates.
  • Proactively communicates with hiring managers and provides updates on open positions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources or related area.

Experience:
Two (2) years experience in Human Resources or Administrative support role, preferably in hospitality/customer service or health care industries.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
