Job Purpose
The IT ERP Project Manager is responsible for leading complex and high-value, Digital Transformational ERP implementation projects. The IT ERP Project Manager will plan, control, and execute project requirements to ensure business objectives are met. The IT ERP Project Manager will partner with Steering Committee, Internal IT Functional Applications Team Members, Project Champions, and Project Leads to clearly articulate project team roles €" both functional and technical and execute on new applications systems implementations project plans.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans (with clear critical path) and budgets.
- Manage the scope/requirements and ensure all agreed to deliverables are met while mitigating risks through robust plans.
- Responsible for organizational communication, training, adoption and change management.
- Project manage and deliver components of the IT integration, including data migration and conversion, and business systems integration.
- Work with internal IT applications team members, project champions, project leads and subject matter experts to document & map business processes and articulate end-to-end business requirements for integrations.
- Participate and contribute to IT discovery and discussions, across functions for business application portfolios.
- Responsible for functional and technical documentation during the new applications systems development lifecycle.
- Drive integration project plans with clear metrics, operating mechanisms, and regular updates to Steering Committee.
- Identify and manage project risks; escalate as needed for resolution; Improve project management processes and increase efficiencies.
- Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR Information Technology strongly preferred, OR equivalent experience.
- PMP Certification strongly preferred.
- 5 years' experience in Technical Project Management.
- Familiarity with SDLC €" Systems Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, WMS & Ecommerce implementations, migration, and Systems integrations.
- Experience in managing full-life cycle IT projects and managing resources.
- Experience in requirement gathering workshops, facilitating, and mapping business process & future state definition discussions.
- Experience managing implementations projects involving diverse functional and technical areas.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT system integration and the ability to document ERP processes.
- Business process review experience, including reviewing and recommending process changes.
- Hands-on expertise in the use of project management software.
- Results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal, written communication, and strong oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts quickly.
