Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Finance leads the National Sales Center organization financial support including strategic partnership, business case financial analysis, and financial management of a variety of processes including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, month-end closing, and performance reporting of financial metrics. This strategic thinker also leads Outbound Analytics and telephony teams, inside sales projects, sales analysts that provide real-time and actionable data to drive results, and partners with marketing to develop IVR and operational policies and practices. Additional responsibilities include developing, maintaining, optimizing, and mitigating risk of sales systems including sales ranking, routing, and commission plans. This role will have 4-5 direct reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performance Management: Proactively ensures budget goals including units and incentives/wages are achieved, oversees team provided performance data to the business, close budget variance explanations including Operational Review Decks, and leads inside Sales financial reporting processes. Accurately provide teams with forecasts and goals and encourage progressive performance levels.
Financial Analysis: Conduct deep dive analyses to identify patterns, root causes and trends impacting business strategy. Owns inquiry and lead conversion rate optimization and develops innovative ways to provide key actionable insights for initiatives to transform sales operation and processes. Ad hoc analysis used for Sales leadership to manage performance, identify conversion growth and strategic opportunities.
Outbound Operations and Analysis: Maintain dialer and telephony optimization, maximizing conversion and lower marketing costs. Creates, delivers, maintains and operationally supports the end to end customer experience strategy for inbound phone sale prospects including customer call flow, IVR and auto attendant design, vector programming, on hold experience and Avaya Advocate through partnership management of internal and external telecommunications teams, vendors, workforce management and Marketing from call entry to agent delivery
Operations and Project Teams: Assesses impacts of emerging technology related to strategic business needs; provide consulting support and guidance for key sales initiatives. Partner with sales on new technology capabilities, application enhancements and end to end application improvements developing, maintaining, optimizing, and mitigating risk of sales systems including sales ranking, routing,
Commission Team: Oversees Inside Sales Agent & Manager commission, assists in plan design/execution, and Workforce Management team to lower costs and exceed budget.
Work Experience Required:
- 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and consolidation, preferably in a matrixed corporate environment.
- Proficient in financial modeling and financial valuation metrics such as NPV, IRR, and DCF
- Ability to work and collaborate across teams and functions
- Understanding of Accounting/GAAP principles including a strong knowledge of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Essbase/Oracle & Tableau experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills/comfort with managing and analyzing financial data

Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
