SALES AND MARKETING ASSISTANT

The Experience Team

Reporting: This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer

Position Summary

The Sales and Marketing Assistant will support the work of sales and marketing managers and directors on projects focused at maximizing company visibility, awareness, customer acquisition and retention. You will assist in executing sales and marketing strategies and tactics. This position will work collaboratively with the teams to maximize productivity, contributing to the success, organizing and monitor schedules and see that deadlines are met. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the sales and marketing departments and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

Core Accountabilities and Essential Functions

  • Assist the team in maintaining the marketing content files and systems, with the ability to send requested information to marketing partners and others at a moment's notice.
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects.
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.
  • Prepare promotional presentations.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing team to identify ways to support their needs.
  • Create and send contracts to customers.
  • Continuously strive for a deeper understanding of our business drivers, goals and objectives.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, tourism, business or other related field.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting sales, marketing and/or business operations.
  • Experience with marketing programs and social media (a plus).

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a demanding, start-up environment, working well under pressure.
  • Skill to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • The talent to collaborate, inspire and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with all team members.
  • Ability to create on-brand PowerPoint presentations and use all Microsoft Office applications proficiently.
  • Administrative expertise:
  • Excellent understanding of office management and marketing principles.

o Strong organizational and administration skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Exquisite communication and people skills (written and verbal).
  • Know how to keep the status of projects up-to-date.
  • Detail oriented and analytical mindset.
  • A love for insights, innate curiosity, and a deep desire to find ways to create value and solve problems.
  • Strong interest and passion in space exploration and the science field a plus!

Location: Current Operations Center is at Space Coast Spaceport in Titusville, FL.
