Position Responsibilities:


  • Develop a full understanding of the team's practices, procedures and philosophy
  • Work with other advisors to manage and maintain existing current and new client relationships by earning trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions and delivering an exceptional client experience
  • Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, and overall financial needs
  • Ensure that proposed solutions fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short, medium and long term through a holistic goals-based planning approach
  • Attend and document client & prospect meetings & complete necessary follow-up.
  • Construct visual aids including proposals/presentations charts, graphs, spreadsheets to be used in meetings with clients and prospects
  • Stay current and up to date with markets/economy/and changing tax laws
  • Assist with projects and other duties as needed
  • Network in the community and with centers of influence
  • Actively engaging in continued education to stay current
  • Some local travel may be required


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required in a business-related field (preferably finance/economics)


Compensation:

  • Salary and Bonus package range based on relevant experience


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of previous wealth management experience with high net worth clients required
  • Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) required
  • Life & Health Insurance Licenses required
  • Have or willingness to obtain CFP Designation a plus
  • Proficient knowledge in financial planning, including but not limited to goals-based planning, asset allocation, retirement planning, and education funding
  • Proficient knowledge of the securities industry, including investment and insurance products and services
  • Ability to effectively present investment strategies to clients and maintains a holistic approach to planning
  • Strong relationship management, and new business development skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients, colleagues and advisors.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly switch priorities when necessary to manage deadlines
  • Ability to think critically and to process complex financial scenarios
  • Open and receptive to feedback and coaching
  • Experience working in a team atmosphere
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional demeanor with the highest ethical standards
  • Multilingual a plus, but not necessary
