CNC MACHINIST

We are looking for an experienced machinist to join our hardworking team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving problems and will have prior experience working with manual and CNC machinery in a production environment.

Responsibilities

× Operates manual and CNC machinery

× Programs and sets up manual and CNC machinery

× Provides appropriate support for manufacturing and quality functions within the company

× Assists in resolving issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments

× Assists with designing and building machining fixtures

× Reviews, designs, and improves manufacturing processes

× Designs parts for current and future products

× Reviews blueprints with the Engineering Department

× Participates in reverse engineering

× Inspects parts and other materials meant for production

× Calibrates inspection equipment and conducts maintenance on the machinery, diagnostics and repair

× Reviews, designs, and improves assembly processes

× Reviews, designs, and improves assembly and manufacturing processes for drilling, riveting, and rimming

× Works closely with the Quality Control Department to minimize the failure rate

× Works closely with the Production Manager on needed tasks

× Works with the Engineering Department with tolerances and material options

× Documents tool wear and creates ways to extend tool life

× Works with jigs and gauges to assist the manufacturing process

× Assists the assembly line with ways to improve production processes

× Thinks creatively on how to solve problems

Education, Experience and Skills Required

× 5+ years of machining experience

× Must have strong ethics and integrity

× Must have a go-getter attitude with focus on obtaining results

× Ability to utilize great judgement skills to make the right decisions

× Ability to be a team player with focus on positive attitude and constant improvement

× Ability to follow instructions in detail

× Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time

× Must be detail oriented

× Must be comfortable working on firearms and firearm components

× Familiarity with SolidWorks is a plus

Full-Time position, Day Shift, Monday - Friday
