Required Education: BS in Microbiology or related discipline preferred.

Preferred Skills: MICROBIOLOGY LIMS MEDIA PREPARATION ASEPTIC TECHNIQUES LABORATORY EQUIPMENT

Duties:

• Perform various typical microbiological tests according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) under minimal supervision and evaluates reports and records all data.
• Perform microbiological assays such as Sterility Tests of Products and Biological Indicators Bioburden, Bacteriostasis and Fungistasis
• Media Preparation, Growth Promotion, Environmental and Water Analysis, Microbial Limits of Raw Materials and Finished products, Antimicrobial Effectiveness, Bioassays, LAL ,Cytotoxicity, Gram Stain, and Microbial Identifications and Characterizations
• Assist in the development, optimization and validation of new assays and instrumentation
• Assist in the continued development and improvement of GMP level QC testing Laboratory Apply good knowledge of GMP and GLP on daily basis
• Performs tasks accurately, reproducibly, and promptly with acute attention to detail Summarize and report data from testing and studies
• Maintain accurate records data of test records throughout LIMS
• Investigate deviations and write exception documents as required, utilizing problem-solving tools as needed.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP regulations.
• Monitors, reviews, evaluates, and validates data to detect or assess problems and to determine compliance with acceptable standards.
• Demonstrates flexibility in responding to unexpected demands

• Must communicate effectively (verbal and written) with supervisors and peers and be able to work cross-functionally with other groups.
• Must demonstrate effectiveness in ability to train others.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions and have good verbal/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of chemical, biological and microbiological safety procedures.
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
