The HR Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of human resource functions. The essential duties will include, but are not limited to the following: recruiting, hiring, and training new and existing employees. The HR Administrative Assistant will also support the development of processes and procedures, as well as create programs to improve the employee experience at Schumacher Auto Group.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support the HR Team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Manage and maintain vital employee records.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner to ensure the HR department operations run smoothly.
- Support the HR Manager with the recruitment process.
- Recruitment processes include screening candidates resumes and assisting during the interview process.
- Support both internal and external inquiries and requests sent to the HR Department.
- Keeping accurate employee records inclusive of both printed and electronic copies of vacation time, sick leave, and bereavement leave.
- Entering employee data into our computer databases.
- Scheduling and coordinating the logistics of for new hire orientation between the HR Department and Schumacher University.
- Completing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
- Maintain a current level of understanding of the latest HR best practices to improve workplace effectiveness.
- A professional capable of maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with regards to employee information and employee files..
