Job description

SUMMARY: The Sales Account Executive is an inside sales position making outbound calls to prospective clients with whom we have established strategic partnerships in the market. The incumbent actively uses consultative sales techniques to understand their business needs, to identify where Clearent can provide added value product and services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cold/warm-calling key decision makers to generate sales
  • Strategic thinking to generate and deliver solutions that provide value to clients' bottom line
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on products and services related to the industry
  • Continuation of acquired industry and product knowledge by utilizing internal training resources
  • Driving revenue by effectively closing accounts over the phone, addressing the client's business need by offering appropriate value proposition solutions
  • Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly sales quota
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industry experience preferred. Financial background a plus
  • High school diploma. College degree preferred
  • 1 year of inside sales/lead generation in an outbound high-energy sales environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, the Internet, and basic math skills
  • Experience working in Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus

Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, techniques; ability to effectively convey and accurately interpret ideas and application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Prospecting. - Versed on prospecting principles, processes; ability to identify and engage potential customers; build relationships to create opportunities

Selling value propositions - Applies knowledge of merchant services products and services applicable to potential customer needs to facilitate achieving their financial goals.

Tech Acumen - Advise, educate, and engage clients on a variety of technological tools and resources allowing them to explore solutions to achieve their financial well-being.
