Suntex Marinas is a high- company investing exclusively in niche mixed-use marinas and their related operating platforms. We have acquired, developed, and operated over 40 full-service marinas which include retail spaces, office buildings, resorts, hotels, and restaurants in the United States, the Caribbean, and Mexico for 20 years. Over the course of the years, we have developed a solid reputation by being dedicated to our customers, clients, guests, communities, employees, and investors.Suntex Marinas is searching for an Administrative Assistant that will support our VP of Operations.


This role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, heavy administrative and project management volume and general accounting functions. The role also requires high levels of accountability, professionalism, aggressiveness, adaptability and maturity. This person will need to need to be able to anticipate, initiate, coordinate, and follow up on administrative activities and other special projects. You will need to be a self-starter, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and above all outstanding time management skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially over the phone
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Minimum of 2 years Administrative Assistant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage a project budget
  • Input project budgets and revisions into system and submit to ownership
  • Collect and process all contractor invoices in internal accounting system, internal budget tracker, and ownership system (if applicable)
  • Organize and maintain all invoices, contracts, etc. both hard copies and electronic copies
  • Must be professional and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to effectively communicate with project managers and ownership group
  • Must have an excellent understanding of budgeting and accounting
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong ability to develop partnerships with internal and external clients
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Construction billing experience a plus
