Job description

The Business Development Analyst will support the company's sales organization. The Sales organization at MSH is responsible for identifying potential customers, thoughtfully understanding their business objectives, and aligning MSH Service Offerings to the customer's goals. The BDA position is essential in MSH effectively targeting clients and improving MSH's ability to have quality and impactful interactions. The BDA will act as a trusted partner to the Client Relationships Manager with a focus on market research, lead generation, and initial client connections. The BDA will be expected to generate potential customer lists and produce insightful company information that will aid in client pursuit strategies and customer engagement. Initially, as a Business Development Analyst, you will assist in setting meetings and gaining customer traction. The goal is for the BDA to gain exposure to client meetings and grow into a Client Relationships Manager position, in order to facilitate meetings and own business development and account management individually. As a BDA you will need to be detail-oriented, strategic and relationship-oriented with a strong understanding of the MSH brand and service capabilities.

Responsibilities //

  • Understand MSH Ideal Client Profile and spend ample time sourcing potential customers.
  • Research potential customers current business initiatives, company changes, and any relevant company news in order to understand the basis of the customer's current state.
  • Begin engagement; calling and emailing potential customers.
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales & General Manager to create target company lists, make strategic account pursuits & review all lead generation BDA has completed.
  • Be creative and strategic in lead engagement methods.
  • Set client visits and engagements for CRM and VP of Sales.
  • When applicable, attend client visits with VP of Sales or the General Manager of the region.
  • Sit in all Sales team meetings & understand larger Sales organization goals and plans.
  • Carry yourself professionally.
  • Participate in all continuous training initiatives.

Requirements //

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of business development experience preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and management skills.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to self-manage, prioritize initiatives and work well in a team environment.
  • Shows ability to carry themselves with poise and professionalism.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Upholds integrity, respect, and character.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
