Job description

The Procurement Associate is responsible for handling the sales process, assisting customers with queries, and providing solutions quickly. Knowledge of HVAC parts, supplies, and terminology as well as sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.

* Answer customer inquiries about products.
* Recommend products to customers.
* Price basic quotes.
* Enter orders into a database, Pull and Bill orders.
* Receive orders via phone, walk-in, email and coordinate packing and shipping.
* Resolve customer issues.
* Preform receiving, stocking and other duties as related to position.

Requirements

* Previous HVAC industry experience is not required, but preferred.
* Previous counter sales experience preferred.
* High School diploma/GED required.
* Computer skills experience is required.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Identify customers needs by listening to communications and determine best course of action.
* Ability to follow-up with customers.
* High degree of professionalism and courtesy.
* Maintain Min/Max flow of inventory.
* Physical abilities required for this position include walking, grasping, crawling, kneeling, reaching, carrying, stooping, crouching, standing, sitting, climbing, lifting over 50lbs.
* Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance.
* Attend training seminars on products and services to acquire product knowledge.
* Keep stocked areas and common spaces clean to portray a professional appearance.
* Regularly promote inventory to customers.
* Preform other duties as requested in order to maintain our high level of customer service through timely and effective teamwork.
* Proven ability to attend to details.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties.
* Bi-Lingual is a plus.
