Job Summary

We're hiring a Material Planner II with MRP and manufacturing experience in our Fort Walton Beach, FL facility!

Job Responsibilities

* Based on the MPS driven demand, generate purchasing requisitions in support of timely execution of the MRP requirements
* Continual analysis of material alignment to the manufacturing plan and review of inventory assignment to correct projects
* Purchased inventory control and excess mitigation efforts
* Meet weekly with Contracts to review all pending and recently received demands and provide material support status
* Drive consistent communications between planning, project accounting, and project management for consistent project Material EAC's and Execution Charts
* Improve current system, functions, and daily operations to more effectively meet goals
* Maintain material support plans on a daily basis
* Manage material transfer and reservation process of multiple projects
* Coordinate purchased order delivery with Supply Chain support to meet production schedules
* Ensure all outside services are planned and monitored
* Consolidate demand for purchase requisitions
* Highlight critical parts and any issue, which may keep operations from meeting the MPS
* Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Solid understanding of business processes and functional interrelationships
* Strong background in project material management
* Extensive experience in production planning
* Skilled in the use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, Word, as well as Sharepoint
* Strong understanding of MRP systems
