Wood is currently recruiting for a Level 1 Water Resources Scientist with experience in Florida. Join Our Dynamic Water Resources Team in Florida

Are you an environmental scientist with 0 to 3 years' experience who enjoys a mix of field and office work? Are you looking to work with a worldwide company with an established team of professionals? Wood Environment and Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a scientist to work with our water resource team in Gainesville Florida. * Ecological and environmental field data collection
* Laboratory work
* Data analysis
* Report writing

* Basic / Required Qualifications
* Scientist with 0 to 3 years' experience
* Minimum BS Degree in environmental, ecological, biological or similar sciences
* Knowledge in water resources, ecology, biology or other environmental sciences
* Knowledge of biologic, ecologic and other environmental issues in Florida
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
* Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare reports and setup spreadsheets
* Attention to detail
* Works well in Team environment
* Must be able to travel locally and out of area when necessary
* The position is located in Gainesville, FL
* Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Wood's driving (MVR) policy
* Proficiency in using ArcGIS

Preference will be given to applicant who can show experience performing field and/or laboratory work, including water quality monitoring, invertebrate identification, boat operation, and other similar tasks.
