Overall team responsibilities include participation in the Tapestry close process, monthly reconciliations, fraud analytics, customer care support, testing, and SOX compliance. It offers multifaceted experience and opportunity for cross-functional collaboration with Tapestry Brand and Regional Controller teams, Customer Care, Corporate Finance and IT. Month end close responsibilities including journal entries, preparing account reconciliations and ensuring Tapestry's deadlines are metMonitor activities of various functional areas to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, GAAP, SOX, and industry best practicesDevelop and implement process improvements by analyzing current accounting procedures and recommending changesMonitor financials, investigate and correct errors in financial posting and reportingAbility to review reports and data analytically for accuracyAssist Manager with special assignments and ad hoc analysis due to new systemsAssist with internal and external auditor requestsLearn process flow of all transactions in order to be able to get into the detail when issues need to be researchedRespond to all credit card disputes Analyze chargebacks and fraud patternsThe accomplished individual will possess...
