Job description

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. The primary responsibility of the Business Development Specialist is to make B2B outbound sales calls to prospective clients (offering janitorial and non-janitorial services), qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for our sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market reports to determine where to seek out new business
  • Make (#) of sales calls per week to prospective clients.
  • Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as defined by management
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate product/services


Requirements

  • 1-2 years B2B outbound call center or equivalent experience prospecting and/or cold calling are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
