Job Description


Freedom Mortgage, a Leader in FHA, VA and Conventional lending continues to grow its Wholesale Division with expanded Products and Programs. We are seeking a qualified business development representative (BDR) to find and engage potential Broker Partners Clients who can benefit from our lending products and services. As the first line of communication with prospective Broker Partners, ideal BDRs have a strong understanding of the mortgage sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our InTouch Wholesale Account Managers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every prospective Broker Partner Client is an opportunity for you to build a larger servicing portfolio for Freedom Mortgage.

Objectives of this Role

  • Solicit new Broker Partners Client via all appropriate means (telephone, email, print).
  • Re-engage dormant and inactive Broker Partners Client throughout the country to increase market share.
  • Assist in obtaining sufficient and complete documentation from the Broker Partner Clients as required by Freedom Mortgage's underwriting/processing guidelines.
  • Acts as a liaison between Freedom Mortgage and the Broker Partner Client throughout all phases of the initial onboarding process.
  • Successfully, solicit quality first mortgage loans through our new Broker Partner Clients.


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within the Freedom Mortgage Wholesales organization.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software.
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes.
