Business Strategy and Initiatives Manager lead flawless, end to end execution of cross functional, high impact strategic initiatives that have significant influence on how the company does business or provides a product or service. Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. Responsible for managing multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously, and ensure error- free delivery on time and budget within our risk management framework. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Knowledgeable in the agile framework, demonstrate a strong combination of strategic thinking, tactical planning and project management skills along with the ability to lead and influence project teams without direct management. Serves as primary contact to senior leaders for critical change initiatives.
Business Strategy and Initiatives Manager Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drives end to end execution of key strategic initiatives across Credit Card, Home Loans, Consumer Vehicle Lending, and Deposits for Consumer, Small Business product organization.
  • Deliver executive presentations and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, quickly identify their needs and develop plans to support them.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Channels, Operations and Marketing teams and other lines of business to design and implement process change with credibility and impact, removing roadblocks that may impact the initative's execution
  • Turns complex ideas into well-structured processes while maintaining attention to detail
  • Communicate risks and trade-offs associated with decisions and actions to stakeholders in business-oriented terms and ensure all controls are in place to sustain risk mitigation.
  • Meet aggressive deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities, changing deadlines, and competing priorities
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of Initiative Execution and/or Project Management Experience
  • Knowledge of the Agile process and Bank of America project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent oral, written and executive communication skills
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive to results
  • Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills
  • Following Risk Framework, identifies and escalates areas where additional controls are required
  • Strong in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in driving initiatives and effectively building consensus
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and to work in cross functional teams
Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Consumer and Small Business Banking Products, Services and organizational structure
  • Strong digital knowledge and experience
  • Process design experience
  • Call Center, Financial Center and/or Digital channel knowledge
  • Bachelors Degree
