The Claims BSA will use their communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills to understand and respond to business user needs in an Agile IT environment. Responsible for identifying business needs, assessing the impact of the change, working with the business to align the need to the base application functionality, documenting the requirements, and walking the business through the documentation to obtain approval. This position will also be responsible for testing support. The analyst is involved throughout the entire development lifecycle (e.g., initial concept, requirement gathering, development support, testing, and final implementation and post production support).

Position Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Business System Analyst experience on large, developmental projects.
• Effective, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the design and development of new requirements for IT projects
• Experience interacting with Claim Business Leadership and I/T Technology Application Architects
• Education equivalent to a 4-year college degree in Information technology or business administration related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience.
• Testing (Quality Assurance) Analyst experience a plus.
• Property & Casualty Insurance industry, specifically Claims-related experience is a plus.
• Guidewire ClaimCenter experience is a plus.
• Agile Project experience is a plus.
