Financial Analyst

At CSI, our people make all the difference. We are actively seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance Team in our corporate office, located in Jacksonville, Florida. This position will be responsible for the preparation of significant financial analyses/forecasts in support of the monthly reporting requirements to Corporate and Senior Management. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership. This candidate will be driven to succeed, organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Support leadership in varied areas of analysis including weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues.
• Developing corporate forecasting models
• Identify financial and/or statistical trends and recommend actions to management
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators

• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management
• Analyze project profitability by monitoring spend to date versus budget
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
• Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
• Identify process improvements and provide corrective action recommendations
• Provide ad hoc reporting as needs arise

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
• Advanced analytical skills and highly detail-oriented
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be diplomatic and maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Word and Office)
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting or related discipline preferred) or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of experience with a focus on financial planning, expense management, and statistical/financial data analysis.
