Job description

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of reporting analyst experience (must be able to work independently!)
• Tsql, pl SQL - must be very comfortable, reading, writing, editing, manipulating the data
• Stored procedures
• Advanced excel
• Toad preferably or similar tool

Plusses:

• Insurance knowledge - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• SSRS
• ETL tools, ability to implement solutions with ETL

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global's client is searching for a Reporting Analyst to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. This group is very report and data heavy they support IT, the business and finance. It is a small team, therefore, must be able to work independently. They need to read current code and then develop in tsql, ssms, and better the code with parameters, catch any Band-Aids, hard coded values.. etc. to make the code more efficient. Reports and new mandates are coming in every month. They have 300 reports that have to be sent out monthly, quarterly reports and yearly additionally. The manager is a hands on programmer and they have an additional analyst, looking to add two more quality report developers to build out the team due to positive company growth. They are on SQL server and they query from AS400 oracle and SQL server to get reports out. They use ETL currently but they use it manually, which they are looking to make more automated in the coming years.
