Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:

This role will work closely with the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis and the Controller to ensure actual expenses are documented accurately and align with the budget. Reporting to the CFO, this position will have oversight of the relationship between the budget and the general ledger ensurjng revenues and expenses are properly mapped in the financial statements with a focus on meeting the annual operating plan for the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Audits budgeting activities and the alliance with the organization's budget policies and guidelines.
• Assists in the direction and control of the budget and financial forecasting.
• Assists the CFO in identifying areas in the budget and forecasting that need attention.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement in practices.
• Monitors actual performance against estimates and prepares annual and interim budgets.
• Coordinates budget appropriations and responds to exception requests for funds.

Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.

• Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
• Public Accounting is highly desirable
• Healthcare Experience
