Job description

Job Summary

Develops and executes recruiting strategies that align with business priorities to hire best in class talent while building a strong talent pipeline. Uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of training and experience to develop effective recruitment plans, while providing guidance, mentorship, and advice to direct reports on the Talent Acquisition team. Additionally, this position will be responsible for streamlining processes and creating efficiencies associated with the recruiting process and educating customers in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition leadership.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities

* Engage with hiring managers and business leaders to discuss needs, plan a strategy, and provide guidance in the full life-cycle recruiting process.
* Develop a strong candidate pool by implementing non-traditional sourcing and recruiting methods, using internet, social media, networking, referrals, etc.
* Responsible for the quality and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process by assisting in developing strategies to identify, attract, and hire high quality employees.
* Develop network of community and industry contacts for sourcing and retention purposes.
* Demonstrates focus on continuous improvements to increase hiring process efficiency.
* Must be able to manage and influence business leader expectations on talent availability (by leveraging internal and external market analytics).
* Lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists.
* Responsible for providing timely feedback and identifying development plans for direct reports, as well as assisting in day-to-day work if required.
* Advise hiring department to ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations as well as company policies.
* Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Minimum Qualifications

* High School Diploma/GED
* 8 or more years of experience in Recruiting,Staffing or other HR-related positions.
* 2 or more years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
* 5 or more years of experience in Recruiting,Staffing or other HR-related positions.
* PHR (Professional in Human Resources)
* Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

Knowledge and Skills

* Knowledge of Human Resource concepts and procedures
* Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System(s) such as Taleo
* Knowledge of Human Resource Information System(s)
* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
* Presentation skills
* Microsoft Office skills
* Written and oral communication skills
* Organizational skills
* Business acumen
* Manage multiple tasks and priorities Negotiation skills Networking skills
