Talent Acquisition/Sourcing Specialist
. A. Harold and Associates, LLC is looking for an experienced and energetic Talent Acquisition/Sourcing Specialist to support our recruitment efforts. This position will be responsible for recruitment of active and passive candidates, attracting highly qualified candidates and moving them through the talent acquisition process. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, accustomed to multitasking and have strong communication and follow-through skills and possess a "can-do" attitude. This is a full time opportunity supporting our Jacksonville, FL, location but the Candidate can be REMOTE.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains a candidate pipeline through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management
- Partners with hiring managers and business leaders to determine the human capital needs and positions identified to ensure efficient and effective hiring
- Builds and maintains a candidate pipeline through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management
- Proactively and diligently identifies and engages active and passive talent in response to human capital needs
- Sources and screens candidates for direct hire, consulting, contingent hires for proposals, and temporary staffing for varied positions in the Department of Defense and private sector
- Leverages online recruitment resources, including job boards, niche sites, and social networking sites to identify, source and recruit talent
- Participates and conducts in-depth prescreens and interviews (phone, video and in-person) of potential candidates; assesses applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively
- Prepares candidates for interviews by providing available information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and general expectation-setting
- Manages requisition process including creation, posting, maintenance, and promotional efforts and ensures compliance with governing entities and established budgets
- May conduct reference and background checks as required
- Takes ownership and accountability for talent acquisition processes and outcomes; efficiently tracks candidate and requisition data
- Assembles and distributes pipeline, candidate and requisition status report as required
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of prior recruiting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Solid understanding of hiring processes, compliance and best practices
- Prior experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong familiarity with job boards and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.)
- Prior experience with passive sourcing and building talent pipelines across all social media outlets
- Proven capability in assessing employee talent
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with customer & quality focus
- Detail oriented and results oriented
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience in private industry and the Department of Defense sector including full life cycle recruiting within diverse executive, professional, and skilled labor groups
