We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Development Specialist. The Business Development Specialist develops and maintains strong physician relationships between the Envision office-based practices and external healthcare providers and other referral sources throughout our region. The overall goal of this position is to increase visibility of the assigned office-based practices among community physicians and referral sources. The Business Development Specialist will work hand-in-hand with the Manager, physicians, and practice Leadership to analyze market share data, physician volumes, and other information sources to determine appropriate marketing/advertising plans. This position requires strong business to business and business to client experience, marketing, promotional, and client development skills.
Responsibilities
Works with the Manager, physicians, and leadership to identify areas of potential growth and to develop marketing programs targeted to build strong relationships with community physicians
- 75% Travel
- Performs functions of onboarding new physicians as assigned.
- Submits financial reports and manager's report. ( KPI's and trend reports)
- Establishes and adheres to an ongoing schedule of visits to physicians and medical groups in identified target areas based on a sound market strategy. Documents visits appropriately.
- Works with the Manager to determine other means of communication for physicians
- In coordination with company marketing team, develops and manages assigned office websites, pages and content
- Monitors referring physician concerns so that community physicians continue to consider our Office Based practices as the preferred provider for their patients
- Builds and strengthens relationships with internal and external physicians and their office staff
- Collaborates with the manager in the development of outreach activities, programs, events, lunches, dinners, etc.
- Participates in exhibitions and community events and assists to prepare materials for distribution. Tracks attendance and follow up with contacts.
- Supports the marketing department and assists with the implementation of all marketing strategies and elements essential for the growth of the assigned Office Based practices.
- Carries out tasks to facilitate campaign drives for the organization
- Develops and manages a cost to return on investment (ROI) for all promotion activities to support appropriate resource utilization
- Assists with the development and management of the marketing budget for assigned area
- Works on online research projects as well as departmental projects with deadlines.
- Participates in internal meetings with management.
- Communicates with team, managers, and department directors for project approvals and completion. • Maintains a well-organized filing and electronic system.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University and 2 or more years of related experience in sales and business development; 2 years of experience in Healthcare; experience within a multi-site healthcare organization preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
