Business Development Executive
The Business Development Executive will develop new relationships with clients and serve as an account lead for large sized business opportunities across multiple sales channels. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies, managing a variety of projects and identifying new business opportunities.

The Details
The Business Development Executive will have the following primary duties :
Expand business opportunities by identifying prospects, evaluating prospect's position in industry, and researching and analyzing solutions
Achieve sales objectives by identifying and pursuing market and niche opportunities while developing new products and enhancing existing products
Coordinate and/or direct meetings to be scheduled with client decision makers
Conduct ongoing research into target customer marketplace locations while analyzing competitive landscapes
Troubleshoot problems or issues through to completion, on behalf of assigned prospects
Lead day to day direction and management of new business opportunities
Develop and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly account status updates and reporting
Oversee and direct the negotiation of new LOIs, MSAs, SOWs and other business agreements
Create customer facing presentations, customer briefings as well as present during meetings
**this is a remote role with 50% travel**
Required skills
5 + years of sales and business development experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong business acumen
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Resourcefulness and ability to influence
Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent collaboration skills, team-oriented working style
Ability to work independently and achieve results under time pressure
Domestic Travel Required: Up to 50%
Preferred Experience:
Experience working for insurance, risk management, or telecommunications companies with a global footprint is a plus.
Business development experience within the following sectors (Retail, Logistics, Securities, Asset Management, Wireless Carriers)
B2B2C sales experience
Self-starter, self-disciplined and target focused but able to work in a team matrixed environment
Demonstrates drive, passion and flexibility
Basic research and strategy skills
Working knowledge of current business software, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
