THE ROLE

Weare looking for a Senior Business Analyst to serve as an expert resource acrossmultiple, complex projects in support of internal Temenos teams and externalstakeholders. The ideal Senior Business Analyst must be able to understandclient and regulatory requirements for the U.S. market and translate theserequirements into functional designs for changes needed in our product suite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document Business requirements definition for strategic and customer enhancements;
• Write software specifications solutions and apply usability principles and best practices design to specify user interfaces that enhance the end user experience;
• Investigate problems independently and through collaboration with development teams, implementation consultants, project managers bring to resolution;
• Liaise with development teams and QA to ensure solution objectives are met;
• Liaise with documentation team to ensure the solution is adequately documented;
• Provide accurate estimates on work effort needed to complete Functional Specification Documents;
• Maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix for assigned projects;
• Conduct client and internal walkthroughs on proposed design;
• Determine changes needed based on feedback from these walkthroughs;
• Verify all documents: tasks are completed and updated in accordance with Temenos Quality Management System (QMS) in preparation for the audit conducted by the QMS team;
• Liaise with documentation team to ensure the solution is adequately documented;
• Develop and deliver presentations on assigned topics both internally and externally, as necessary

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 10 years' experience working in a U.S. based financial institution or Banking Software Company.
• Knowledge and experience in one or more in the following domains Deposits, Payments Accounting and Lending a must.
• Software company experience must include creation of Business Requirements, Functional Specification Documents, interaction with developers and support of Quality Assurance.
• Financial institution experience must include direct contact with a software vendor, either as part of a core banking migration, selection of a core software vendor, implementation of a new core application or creation of Business Requirements or Functional Specifications for internal bank developments.
• Experience in a multi-cultural office working with offshore resources is a plus.
• Applicant must be willing to travel although travel should not exceed 25% of time - Travel internationally may be required.
• Experience with creating and delivering presentations to clients and internal staff.
• Experience with a workflow or process management tool a plus.
• Applicant must be able to perform detailed analysis of requirements and participate in viable solutions offered for said requirements.
