The Contractor Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for screening potential contractors for the Field Operations division of the Home Improvement business for a designated multi-geographic territory and completes the onboarding of selected contractors

Job Requirements:
Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes a variety of sources to identify qualified candidates as directed by the Supervisor such as internet based sourcing, social networking websites & media (LinkedIn, craigslist, etc.), community networking (local employment council meetings, local colleges/universities), job fairs, ads/small newspapers, employee referral programs, web postings, database searches, direct competitor recruitment, technical schools, military, direct mailings, etc.
  • Conducts high quality and expeditious phone screens to ensure the proper number of qualified applicants is passed through the screening pipeline.
  • Determines if the applicant meets the company standards required of contractors and updates status in appropriate databases.
  • Coordinates in-person interviews for candidates with the Assistant Production Managers and Project Consultants for the district(s) assigned and follows-up with district to determine status of candidates interviewed.
  • Provides subcontractor agreement package to all contractor candidates who pass the final district interview process and works with candidate through all stages of the contractor on-boarding process.
  • Ensures all the necessary paperwork and documentation of selected contractors is received and complies with our company processes (licenses, insurance, etc.).
  • Responsible for sourcing the necessary volume of candidates to ensure that the net budgeted staffing number is met. Meets forecasted Contractor staffing headcount at a rate for each district supported of 98% or higher.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and follow up communication to both internal and external customers and job applicants.
Required Skills:
  • 1-2 years experience providing recruitment support in a multi-geographic recruitment territory supporting multiple managers.
  • Intermediate experience with computers and databases, including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to read, write & speak English.
  • Ability to interact professionally and represent the company in a positive manner with management, potential contractors and field operations.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple contractor candidates simultaneously who are in all phases of the recruitment and on-boarding process.
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and is able to follow directions and solve problems.
  • Able to work variable and flexible hours which may include overtime.
Preferred Skills:
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Prior recruiting experience preferred.
