SUMMARY

This role has day-to-day application support, site monitoring, Windows server and workstation administration and Active Directory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Install, update, tune, and diagnose problems with internally developed and packaged applications (on-premises and cloud).
  • Administer ImageNow/OnBase which includes new user creation, user maintenance, group permissions, routing access, queue creation, etc.
  • Act as second tier enterprise software support for tickets escalated by tier 1 Help Desk Analysts.
  • Lead and mentor help desk analyst and serve as escalation point when additional troubleshooting is needed for complex user-end issues.
  • Office 365 administration duties. Licensing, add, moves, and changes in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • As needed, work closely with and maintain working relationships with the technical support teams of our packed software vendors (ImageNow, GuideWire, Microsoft, Mimecast, Veeam, VMware, etc.) and our custom software solution providers when diagnosing and solving application issues.
  • On an ad-hoc basis, customize packaged solutions per end-user requests and/or business specification documents.
  • vCenter / VMware virtual Server-side support, manage and maintain. Create, deploy, and maintain virtual machines in a VMware environment.
  • AWS EC2 server management and server support within AWS environments.
  • Active Directory/DNS/DHCP and Exchange administration tasks.
  • Assist in phone related tasks including station setup, voicemail config, troubleshooting issues.
  • Analyze and isolate issues related to networking, software, or hardware, servers, and workstations.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
  • Assist in Monitoring health of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) deployments, Microsoft updates and other Microsoft SCCM related tasks.
  • Spam Monitoring and administration. Whitelisting domain, releasing valid quarantined messages, adding exceptions for user in current spam policies. Escalate as needed to IT Infrastructure Manager and Director of IT infrastructure.
  • Malware/Antivirus Reponses to ensure infections blocked and cleaned utilizing security software SentinelOne, Carbon Black.
  • Accurately prepares relevant IT-related status reports in a timely manner.
  • Work as needed during set maintenance windows and assist network team with system alerts and escalate to appropriate teams.
  • This position requires periodic remote work (10% - 20%) and some evenings, weekends and/or Holidays.
  • Other daily operations tasks to be assigned.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 4+ years of experience supporting 24/7 production environments.
  • 4+ years supporting enterprise software in the capacity of tier 2 or tier 3 technical support.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to develop relationship within the system to enhance the appropriate flow of information
  • Strong Analytical skills and a self-starter attitude necessary.
  • Strong desire to work on smaller team with an entrepreneurial experience
  • Experience working in dynamic and fluid organizations within a small team environment a plus

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates or Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 5 years related experience.
