Job description

Do you have Cooking experience? An Atlantis, FL area healthcare facility is in need of a Line Cook to join their team!

Line Cook Hours = Morning and Afternoon Shifts
Line Cook Pay = $16 per hour
Line Cook Position Length = 4 months

Line Cook Responsibilities:
-Prepares all "hot" items
-Grills, cooks, prepares food for food service areas
-Times preparation of foods to meet food service schedules.
-Fills in for cafeteria workers as needed in the absence.
-Places hot food items in steam tables just prior to serving to ensure correct temperatures
-Making sure all portion control and serving guidelines are being followed
-Follows menus provided and makes changes according to food supplies after consulting with
Director or Dietitian
-Checks next day menus for necessary pre-preparation

Line Cook Requirements:
-High School or equivalency preferred
-One year work experience in institutional food service setting required
-Must possess ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-Computer skills preferred
