Protege Hunters has an immediate contract role ( 6-12 months) for a strong D365 F&O Solution Architect that has a proven track record of working with the end users to define technical requirements and has been a Leader & Participate in technical workshops and design sessions with the end user and vendors.


  • Ideal Candidate will have the following:A proven track record in architecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O consulting systems in a finance and cost accounting environment plus a deep understanding of the Dynamics 365 ERP value-chain
  • Order to Cash
  • P2P - Procure to Pay
  • C2C- Contract to Cash
  • H2R- Hire to Retire
  • ADFS- Active Directory Federation Services
  • Single Signon- SSO
  • DevOps, Testing, Data Migration and some System Administration skills
  • Results oriented / self-directed ability to drive change in unstructured environment
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Track record of initiative and outstanding performance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - 'Customer Focus' and a strong relationship builder

  • Working knowledge of at least one software development methodology

  • The ideal consultant will with ease as passionate SA be responsible for:Fully understanding the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the applications used by the enterprise.
  • Makes sure the proposed gap resolutions fit in the overall architecture and business logic of Dynamics Ax and its modules.
  • Aligns the RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion/Data Migration, Extensions) customization requests with each other.
  • Performs the technical design for all RICEW components.
  • Reviews technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirements traceability.
  • Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments until system handover.
  • Ensures that internal development guidelines are understood and applied by the development team.
  • Identifies and communicates any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas.
  • Ensures adherence to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews.
  • Validates the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
  • Ensures security practices are used and applied throughout the engagement's lifecycle.
  • Have a deep understanding of the D365 F&O technology stack and the peripheral technologies that can be leveraged including, but not limited to, Azure, .NET, Azure SQL, Power BI, Common Data Service, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Machine Learning, etc.
