POSITION SUMMARY

The Front End Application Developer is a key member of a dynamic, close-knit, highly productive team working on software development, configuration, deployment and maintenance of front end code artifacts for assigned applications.

The ideal candidate is passionate about design , enjoys working on a variety of platforms and projects, has a keen eye for detail, learning mindset and can work as part of a team and also independently.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for implementing high quality UI design layouts, workflows and a consistent platform for website and front end development

· Ensures code, configuration and other technology artifacts are delivered within agreed time schedules and any potential delays are escalated in advance

· Ensures minimal defect rates in delivered software

· Collaborates across developers, product owners and UI designer, as part of a SCRUM team ensuring collective team productivity

· Leverages agreed code and design practices including the use of the standardized frameworks

· Ensures that 100% of code is well documented and maintained in source code repository

· Works on troubleshooting and debugging of applications

QUALIFICATIONS

· Required:

· Strong Front End Development Experience including web applications

· Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, AJAX

· Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS, AngularJS, Backbone, Ember, and ReactJS

· Experience with CSS Front End frameworks and Preprocessors (SaaS)

· Experience implementing responsive and mobile design

· Experience with cross-browser development

· Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

· Important:

· Experience working on Azure platform including knowledge of DevOps best practices

· Experience working on Git or equivalent version control systems

· Thoughtful practitioner of software engineering methodologies, frameworks and tools including leading Agile/Scrum (or similar) methodologies

· Desirable, but not required:

· Experience with visual modeling tools including UML
