I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. Join the Publix IT Team as a Systems Analyst or Sr. Systems Analyst where you will be responsible for leading efforts to develop and support highly complex systems by gathering requirements, converting requirements to technical design, development, and implementation while collaborating with other technical and business areas.
Additional responsibilities will include coding, debugging, documenting and configuring packages, maintaining system components, technical and user documentation for new and existing programs based on provided programming specifications and performing problem determination and resolution for complex problems; analyzing root cause by researching current application code, then designing, coding and testing a solution.
- BS in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, and scalability
- Minimum of five years designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks
- Minimum of five years full-stack web development experience with the .NET framework 3.5 or above including C#. MVC, and Microsoft Entity Framework Services and applications using .NET Core, NodeJS, ASP.NET MVC, TypeScript & JavaScript.
- Minimum of five years experience with SQL Server 2014 or above
- Minimum of five years experience with one or more of the following: HTML, DHTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Angular 2.0+ and above
- Experience with responsive web application design using Bootstrap 4 , SASS & media queries.
- Experience planning and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed internet facing environment
- Experience implementing enterprise application using platform services like Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, event hubs, Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, IoT Hub, application insights etc.,
- Strong understanding of the cloud solution architecture patterns and solution design principles
- Strong understanding of different attributes for cloud application availability, scalability and ability to propose optimized design for cloud
- Data storage technologies such as MySQL, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and full SDLC experience
- 7+ years of experience in implementing enterprise application using platform services like notification hubs, event hubs, stream analytics, Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, IoT Hub, application insights etc.,
- Strong technical understanding of IIS and other middleware components
- Experience with KendoUI using Angular.
- Experience designing and developing websites running in a multi-platform distributed environment
- Strong problem-determination and resolution experience
- Experience and knowledge of problem management, change management, and other I/S processes
- SCRUM or other Agile experience
- Strong passion for developing best in class performance sites and mobile applications
- Experience with Azure Cloud Testing, Paas, Cloud Computing.
