Summaryfor the Junior Recruiter Positions:
The Junior Recruiter is responsible for filling requisitions while also providing elements of general support to the broader recruiting team. This includes providing an exceptional candidate experience and hiring manager experience. Duties will include coordinating and fulfilling the recruitment process for assigned requisitions from beginning to end, meeting with hiring managers to understand job requirements, creating compelling job postings, prescreening candidates, sourcing candidates using various tools and databases, scheduling and coordinating the logistics for interviewing, coordinating travel for job candidates and organizing logistics related to new hires. The Junior Recruiter will also participate in other recruiting activities as requested by the team.

- Owns assigned requisitions and manages through the recruitment and requisition workflow from beginning to end. Phone screens and interviews candidates to pre-qualify them for hiring managers.
- Works directly with hiring managers to uncover requisition details and thoroughly understand requirements managing through both candidate and hiring manager expectations.
- Manages time and monitors time-to-fill metrics along with quality of hire metrics.
- Generates qualified applicants through career fairs, universities, community college placement offices, diversity and veteran groups, LinkedIn, job postings and other resources.
- Builds and nurtures pipelines of viable candidates to increase responsiveness for frequently open roles.
- Uses the Avature applicant tracking system for all recruitment related work maintaining accuracy and following prescribed workflows. Workday experience is also preferred.
- Collaborates with the other recruiters and provides sourcing support whenever possible for the more complex requisitions.
- Contributes to the team through general administrative support. These duties may include processing invoices, tracking and submitting expense reports monthly, tracking and submitting referral bonus payouts, scheduling travel for job candidates, sending and receiving new hire paperwork, coordinating relocation packages and other duties as assigned.
- An understanding of recruiting and/or staffing practices through at least one year of related work experience.
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree desired but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required, i.e. Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of an applicant tracking system is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Follow up and detail orientation.
- Tact, diplomacy and the ability to enlist the support of others.
- Proven ability to work with all levels of employees required.
- Required to adhere to high levels of confidentiality and integrity at all times.
- Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
