​Role and Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will analyze and model the business operation to create a complete picture of work-flows and technical requirements fulfilled by current applications, processes and data flow.

Working with decision makers to identify and define business problems and primary objectives. Identify and validate the key business requirements.

Lead business process re-engineering and continuous improvement efforts.

Evaluate potential application and process change initiatives within the system architecture to ensure they meet business requirements.

Create functional requirements in use cases. Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs.

Management projects.

Develop and publish reports in Power BI, SSRS, Crystal Reports or other SQL reporting tools to support business objectives and analyze the effectiveness of business initiatives.

Coordination of IT related tasks and interface with outsource managed service provider.

Adapt and keep current existing reports as business operations and reporting needs change.

Assist users in translating concepts and needs, such as reporting or processes, to written requirements. Facilitate change, processes, reports, etc.

Additionally, the analyst will perform minor updates to forms, other subsystems, and daily data refresh for Dashboards for Star Asset.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

College degree or equivalent

A minimum of three years of experience in data analysis from ERP, Accounting, and Project Management experience.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Highly functional Time Management skills

Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and technical personnel in high-stress situations

Preferred Skills

Advanced Microsoft Suite

Broad experience using a variety of monitoring and ticket management tools

Additional Notes

Position may require scheduled after hours work, that could shift start and end times of other days during the current week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
