You'll set up and oversee a team that is efficient and operationally sound, with the tactics & metrics to highlight the same. As a key member of the sales leadership team you will help to further optimize our outbound sales processes and set the team of Sales Development Representatives up for success in their career paths at GDS.Sales Director - Day-to-dayLead a team of Sales Development Representatives, to ensure they meet and exceed performance targetsDevelop the team's foundational sales skills through ongoing tracking of quantifiable training and mentorshipPartner with the recruiting team to source and hire top talentMentor, train, and report to set KPIsAssist in the adjustment/creation of training (continual and onboarding)Manage team output by monitoring lead flow, daily activities and quality of opportunities createdWork closely with our Sales Executives on understanding the value of opportunities to train on qualityProvide support in a group and one on one settingCollaborate with CRO and Sales Operations to define KPIs and metrics to maximize SDR productivityHave a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" in executing initiatives to drive pipeline for our Account ExecutivesDevelop incentives, competitions, and other unique programs that keep the culture and environment upbeat, fun, and consistentSales Director - What we're looking forYou have 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales or outbound prospecting sales experience (including 4+ years managing a team of SDRs)You have a builder mentality and the dedication to make an immediate impactYou have excellent written and verbal communication skillsYou have a passion for coaching, mentoring, and growing sales professionals early in their careersYou're adaptable to change and can support an evolving go-to-market strategyTo help promote and ensure the safety of all of our employees, customers, and business partners we require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
