Pura Vida Miami is looking for an HR Recruiter to lead our staffing requirements and support a rapidly expanding team.

Functions:

• Recruitment & Hiring
• Managing Food-handler certifications
• Terminations and Resignations
• Onboarding and enrollment

Responsibilities:

• Staffing - Develops hiring plans for FOH & BOH staff. Creates job descriptions and advertises job vacancies and supports all store managers needs for hiring.
• Conducts preliminary interviews and processes new hire paperwork.
• Develops appropriate orientation and on-boarding programs covering workplace policies and service standards.

• Setting competitive wages and advising upper management/ownership.
• Updating internal HR Databases.
• Maintain compliance with all local and state employment regulations.
• Maintaining employee records and work permits.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year work experience as an HR Recruiter.
• BSc in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or similar field.
• Thorough knowledge of Florida labor laws.
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
• Resourceful and computer skilled.
• Bilingual preferred
