Job description

The ideal candidate will help manage our portfolio of investments. They should be well-organized with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsabilities



  • Produce and update marketing and other reporting materials, including but not limited to investment profiles, pitch books, performance and data analyses, update call and annual meeting materials, and other ad hoc portfolio updates or inquiries
  • Draft responses to and run analytics for diligence questions and templates, including both ongoing client deliverables and communications as well as new business development activities
  • Manage data room access and content for fundraises, including case studies, sample client reporting and other documents
  • Help answer questions internally from colleagues across the group (private equity, real estate, debt, wealth management, corporate office) related to the US platform
  • Coordinate closely with investment team and other internal stakeholders such as legal, risk management, operations, compliance, controllers and tax in order to respond to requests and inquiries
  • Help populate and maintain prospective task trackers
  • Establish a business plan and an investment strategy with the objectives of maximizing income, cash flow and long-term value. He/she will forecast income and expense projections and capital requirements
  • He/she will track and report on the performance of the asset, against both budget and various business plan milestones.
  • Analyze financial statements and property operating statements
  • Prepare Annual Reviews
  • Conduct property inspections
  • Review reserve/construction/line draws
  • Review of loan documents and other agreements
  • Manage client relationships, providing excellent stakeholder servicing while enforcing loan document/lender requirements.
  • Perform ongoing risk analysis, ensuring timely risk detection and appropriate monitoring
  • Conduct market research and prepare market reports
  • Prepare loan and portfolio level status reports
  • Monitor loans for covenant and reporting compliance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports on the portfolio

Qualifications


  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple simultaneous projects
  • Attention to detail-proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to create/build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word and adaptability to learn other software products
  • Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated, demonstrating a willingness to take on more responsibility over time
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Real Estate or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of equivalent commercial real estate or private equity asset management, or lending experience.
