Grant Cardone, CEO, created Cardone Capital to provide everyday investors access to the institutional-grade real estate deals that are normally reserved for only the largest investors. To date, the company has raised over $550 million across 14 funds from over 5,000 accredited and non-accredited investors. Cardone Capital's real estate portfolio consists of 9,218 apartment units across 29 multifamily properties along with over 225,000 square feet of commercial office space.
Cardone Capital has an immediate opening for an Asset Manager to join our dynamic real estate team. The multifamily Asset Manager will actively work with the Cardone Capital multifamily team, reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management. This role will have oversight and management of various multifamily real estate investments with the overall goal of optimizing asset values. The Asset Manager will develop and execute on both portfolio and property-level strategies. Additionally, they will evaluate operational performance against relevant industry benchmarks, analyze capital investment decisions and how they impact value, and facilitate preparation of required reporting deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Develop property and portfolio level operational strategies and analyze performance, capital projects and other relevant investment factors that most heavily influence asset values
- Coordinate, review, present, and execute comprehensive annual business plans and budgets
- Prepare quarterly reports and financial statements
- Assist in the review of valuation models, take part in the acquisition and disposition process, and support due diligence efforts for select investments as needed
- Manage the takeover of new assets and assure the smooth and successful transition into the portfolio
- Communicate with third party property management, appraisers, brokers, insurance and real estate tax consultants and other third-party service providers
- Be an expert for each market where fund assets are sited, with a particular focus on competing institutional apartment communities, the development delivery pipeline and other macro- and microeconomic factors that could impact portfolio performance
- Coordinate and facilitate lender compliance with third party property management regarding debt covenants, providing financial information and monitoring the release of escrow accounts
- Visit all properties within the portfolio on a regular basis to coordinate efforts with third party property manager
Skills:
- Effective interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and listening skills
- Strong computer literacy including advanced level with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent financial and analytical acumen with a thorough understanding of financial statements and reporting
- Experience working with loan agreements as well as present value concepts and financial terminology
- Analytical problem-solving skills with capability to undertake detailed analyses and make well-reasoned, decisive recommendations
- Demonstrated prioritization, organization and time management skills necessary to balance competing deadlines
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance or Accounting
- Post graduate education a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in the multifamily and/or commercial real estate, required
- Asset Management experience preferred
Working Conditions:
- Some travel will be required for periodic asset management related property visits and select acquisition due diligence
- Salary depending on experience

This is full-time Monday to Friday 9:00AM to 6PM, with additional hours/times as needed in Aventura, FL
