Job description

Infosys is seeking an Utilities Domain Business Analyst. Experience in Utilities/Customer Service Projects(Billing), IT Business Analyst skills and Understanding of utility market and technology trends. This resource will understand customer issues, diagnose problems, design solutions and facilitate solution deployment, lead small projects by leveraging domain and process skills in one/more of the functional skills including and not limited to Metering, SMART operations, Field Services, Customer Care, Billing, Payments, Credit & collections, self-service functions etc. Candidate will be responsible to interface with end-users, IT teams and key stakeholders to gather system requirements. Will also apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation; this opportunity is to be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. Candidate must be locate within commuting distance of Miami, FL or be willing to relocate to the area. At least 5 years of experience in Utilities/Customer Service Projects(Billing) At least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst Knowledge of Mainframe technology would be an advantagePreferred Qualifications At least 5 years of Functional expertise in Utilities Domain with understanding of utility market and technology trends At least 4 years of experience in capturing user stories & requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process At least 4 years of experience in a client facing role as Business Analyst/Product Owner, requirement gathering, requirement elicitation, user stories. Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment that requires regular travel Should have excellent soft-skills and leadership skills to lead assessment workshops Knowledge of latest technology trends and frameworks like ITIL, CMMI would be an advantage Exposure to US Market Good interpersonal communications and analytical abilityThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
