Job description
DESCRIPTION
Lead process improvement projects in a manufacturing organization to increase productivity, improve effectiveness and create a sustainable culture of continuous improvement. Lead the analysis, design, and configuration of new functionality in our ERP systems, achieving a successful implementation. Participate in evaluation and selection of packaged software or third-party technology to reengineer or enhance our core company processes. The Business Analyst will be involved in conducting system, design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, and training. The BA must be able to work effectively within diverse teams, as well as to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. DUTIES
* Lead team work with business areas to gather business requirements of specific new capability requests and enhancements
* Solid understanding of business functional areas, business management issues and data analysis
* Define and document project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, project action plan, milestones and deliverables
* Responsible for conducting the analysis of needed enhancements and completing the high-level design and associated functional specifications
* Comply with Project and Change management policies, procedures and documentation
* Facilitate effective communication and integration among departments to deliver end-to-end solutions, identifying integration points in detail
* Clear understanding of the processes and principles inherent in ERP systems to be able to perform detailed assessments/troubleshooting, and deliver effective solutions
* Troubleshoot data integrity issues and opportunities for improvement within existing applications and our legacy and new ERP systems
* Become a change agent to ensure continuous improvement and evolution of the IT function to support the enterprise transformation

QUALIFICATIONS
* Advanced computer skills, including programing and db structure knowledge
* Experience with ERP implementation, design, configuration and functionality: Sage X3 (a plus), SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Peoplesoft
* Project Management principles and methodology is required
* Exceptional communication, oral and written
* Agile implementation methodology
* Business Acumen and self-motivation to understand processes in detail
* Teamwork and leadership skills, proactive attitude, people oriented
* Microsoft SQL: experience writing queries, stored procedures and SSIS a plus
* 3 - 4 years of experience working with an ERP significant enhancement and / or implementation projects is required
* 3 - 4 years' experience implementing business solutions and applications
* High level of proficiency with general end user tools - Microsoft Office Suite
* BA in Computer Science Engineering, Management Information Systems or similar
* Master's degree in technology or Business Management (preferred)
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI's)
* Understanding of the Demand planning and Production Planning processes
* ERP manufacturing key concepts and master data: Work Orders, Work Centers, Routings, Bill of Materials, Production Plan
* Inventory Management integration with Production planning, MRP/MPS
* Overall ERP cycle understanding from Demand and Production Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Shipping and Billing
