Buyer Specialist

Plan and coordinates the Buying, Purchasing/Procurement and Inventory Control of all products, perishables and hardgoods.

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive person who will support and execute the purchasing activities and coordinate with vendors to ensure that the company operational needs are met taking into account pricing, quantity, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

Salary: $21 - $23 /hour

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCE / EDUCATION

· Experience buying wholesale products.

· Proficient in MS Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

· Familiarity with ERP system highly desirable or purchase order software

platforms.

· Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the

company.

· Excellent oral/written communication skills.

· Well-developed presentation skills.

· Excellent vendor relations skills.

· Excellent attention to details to ensure all purchase orders are accurate and on time.

· Fluent - English and Spanish - Written and oral.

· Relevant college business degree or equivalent work experience in

purchasing/procurement.

· Ability to work with in a team very well.

· Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets.

· Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure

impacts the production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment.

· Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful

situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
