Job description

We are looking for a Support Analyst to join an international team of professionals. Whilst this role is based in Miami, FL you will be working on a global environment in frequent communication with international offices. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft desktop/server environments, Desktop & Server hardware, IOS/Android OS phones and printers. There will be a healthy blend of support and project based work. You will be joining an experienced follow the sun support team in our Houston office, so both teamwork and communication skills will be paramount.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Good understanding of technology infrastructure;
  • Experience with DevOps;
  • Good understanding of Public Cloud environments (especially Azure and AWS resources);
  • Ability to troubleshoot process, flows in various languages including SQL, C#, VB.NET, Power BI(DAX);
  • Elaborate and implement new features and reports on the existing tools;
  • Ability to rapidly learn new tools and implement turnkey solutions to improve business processes;
  • Experience with Sharepoint;
  • Escalate problems to manufacturer/vendors;
  • Manage demands and internal client's expectations;
  • Exceptional knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent Customer skills;

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience understanding business requirements and translating them into specifications or solutions, from simple Reports or Excel macros to Analytics or Machine Learning solutions;
  • Experience working with SQL databases;
  • Experience with IT change management procedures and protocols;
  • Understanding of RPA and tools like UI Path and Pentaho;
  • Exposure to front-back Financial Services flow;

  • Team player with excellent consultative and communication skills, and the proven ability to work effectively with management and staff, vendors and consultants
  • Ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, responding to critical requests calmly and efficiently
  • Able to carry a problem from end to end and the ability to make decisions when faced with a speed hump.
  • Weekend/out of hours working when necessary
  • Organized - able to follow an agenda.
