Through the generosity of compassionate donors, the Foundation financially assists the health system in providing world-class medical care to children and adults in South Florida and the global community.
FINANCE MANAGER
REPORTS TO: Sr Finance Director
Responsibilities: The Finance Manager will support the Foundation's Sr Finance Director in properly maintaining, recording, and retrieving financial records and information, processing payments, filings, and other duties.
The Finance Manager will:
· Handle all accounts payables needs, managing data entry of invoice and payment processing (Wire, EFT, CC, and Checks)
· Maintain relations with vendors, including negotiating contract terms and fees, strategizing office solutions, and overseeing vendors' service to Jackson Health Foundation
· Review contracts for new vendors and manages the contract execution process
· Update and manage Financial Edge daily
· Deposit incoming checks
· Review and process employee expense and mileage reimbursements monthly
· Process purchase requests
· Provide Sr. Finance Director preliminary monthly reconciliation of credit card and bank statements
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget to present to Co-President/COO
· Prepare monthly fund reports for the Co-President/COO, Hospital Finance Team and Development Team as needed
· Perform other duties as requested by Sr Finance Director
Knowledge and skills: The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles and budgeting. They will be skilled in Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge recommended, and Microsoft Office Suite. They will have the ability to analyze financial and other data and produce accurate and timely reports. Strong communications skills.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred or two years of related experience. Bilingual English/Spanish.
Salary Range: $50-55k
