Position Purpose:

The Business Analyst will help the business implement technology solutions by collaborating with project manager, stakeholders, subject matter experts and end users. The Business Analyst role will be responsible for documentation of functional requirements and lead the testing efforts to ensure those requirements are satisfactorily completed. The Business Analyst will be expected to participate in improving business processes and workflows through observation and evaluation as well.

Role Responsibilities:

• Communicates with users and stakeholders to gather thorough requirements


• Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications


• Works with stakeholders and project team to understand business value and priority of requested feature changes


• Participates in the QA of purchased and developed solutions to ensure features and functions have been implemented accurately


• Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.


• Communicates changes or modifications of business requirements to project manager so that risks and scope changes can be mitigated


• Creates and Maintains updated documentation on solution functionality


• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience & Skills):

• Three to five years related work experience


• Experience working with JIRA


• Experience work with Visio


• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development


• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills


• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities


• Technical proficiencies with the Microsoft Office Suite


• Bachelor's degree required


• Agile or Scrum certification preferred


• IIBA certifications preferred

Required Education/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.

Job Location:

TheIT Business Analyst will work 100% remote.

SalaryRange:

• $70,000-90,000 peryearbaseplus performance-based incentivecomp
