Job description

Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking a Real Estate Legal Administrative Assistant for its Miami office. We prefer a minimum of two (2) years of Legal Administrative Assistant or similar experience. Applicants should be self motivated, growth oriented, possess strong organizational skills and desire to work in a team environment. Must have strong computer skills, including the ability to create Microsoft Office Word, excel and power point documents, traverse data rooms, assist with document editing, and real estate closing and post-closing functions. Strong written and oral communication skills and a keen eye for detail while working independently within a fast paced team environment are a must. Additional administrative job duties may include: general file maintenance, attorney time entry, expense reports, billing, scheduling, electronic form letters and other various administrative duties as assigned.
